The stable is built on a 25-acre site in Kanata with an adjacent 25-acre permanent jumping field. There is a heated arena and connected buildings housing 32 stalls, two wash stalls, and 3 convenient tack rooms. There are three outdoor riding rings, featuring the new 200'x200' "Horizon" ring beside the arena. Several new paddocks have also been built in 2005.

There is immediate access to numerous trails in the vicinity of the Ottawa River.  Clients boarding horses at Elmcroft have full access to these facilities and may use the rings and arena up to 9:00p.m. (other than when group lessons are in progress.)

A viewing lounge allows visitors to watch lessons in comfort. There is a swimming pool and barbeque set-up for summer use, along with a badminton court. Several other outdoor riding areas are also planned for  2006/7, as well as more paddocks. Plans are also in the approval stage for the addition to the heated indoor riding arena.

From Downtown
Take the 417, Queensway West to Eagleson/March Road exit, Kanata. Proceed North on March Road to the right hand turn-off at Dunrobin Road. After 1.5 Km take Kerwin Road (Formerly River Road) right hand turn off at gas station. After 3 Km Kerwin Road turns into Fifth Line Road then 3 Km on right is Elmcroft.
