Our Vitality Club life enhancement program helps residents to meet their basic needs in several key areas. The Walking Tall program is an integral part of the Vitality Club and is designed to provide the knowledge and tools necessary to reduce the risk of falls. The reality of aging involves increased issues with balance and increased risk of falls. No community can guarantee that in all situations your loved one will not fall. Our Walking Tall program promotes increased knowledge and protocols to promote a safe environment, and will create a customized care and intervention plan to help minimize residents’ fall risks.

At Elmcroft each resident's rate will depend on several factors; the size of the apartment, whether living alone or in a shared suite, and the level of care determined by our assessment tool. The assessment takes into account the physical, social and cognitive needs of each individual and allows the community team to develop a customized service plan for each resident. These customized service plans drive our staffing model and ensures that we are prepared to meet the needs of each resident.
