Our Vitality Club life enhancement program helps residents to meet their basic needs in several key areas. A unique wellness profile and individualized program of daily activities is created for each resident. Our staff encourages and supports healthy living, while honoring and respecting every individual.

A popular component of our Vitality Club is the Port of Call series. Each month, residents experience cultural activities and savor culinary delights from around the world, as well as intriguing locations closer to home.

Every day our residents enjoy a unique dining experience where original culinary creations, along with traditional dishes, provide a variety of meal options, and the social setting makes dining an event. Good friends, good food and excellent service create a truly enjoyable experience.

The Walking Tall program is an integral part of the Vitality Club and is designed to provide the knowledge and tools necessary to reduce the risk of falls. The reality of aging involves increased issues with balance and increased risk of falls. No community can guarantee that in all situations your loved one will not fall. Our Walking Tall program promotes increased knowledge and protocols to promote a safe environment, and will create a customized care and intervention plan to help minimize residents’ fall risks.

Elmcroft’s Heartland Village offers a memory care program utilizing the Best Friends® approach. Built around each individual’s life history, cultural heritage, current abilities, and interests, this “person-centered” approach allows us to care for our residents as we would a beloved family member. The special associates at Elmcroft improve the quality of life for your loved one, not only by providing assistance with daily living activities, but also by involving them in structured programming that is meaningful and purposeful.

Second Wind Dreams®

At Elmcroft we know that realizing a dream can renew hope and encourage a positive outlook. That’s why one of our featured programs, Second Wind Dreams®, focuses on making our resident's dreams a reality. From reuniting with loved ones after years of separation or returning to a favorite fishing spot enjoyed years ago, to reaching life-long ambitions such as swimming with dolphins or performing in a ballet, our Second Wind Dreams® program reassures residents that, simple or outrageous, dreams can still come true.

Respite Care

Being a caregiver is both rewarding and taxing, but there comes a time when every caregiver needs a break. Let Elmcroft care for the person in your charge while you take some much-deserved time off. You’ll find that taking the time to take care of yourself will actually make you a better caregiver.

Meanwhile, the person whom you care for will be warmly welcomed into the Elmcroft family and have some of the finest caregivers anywhere at his or her beck and call. A respite stay is also an excellent way to see if Elmcroft might meet your needs in the future.
