"As our mother's health and mental stability declined, my brother and I were committed to keeping her at home as long as possible. Eventually, it became clear that we could no longer do that and we very reluctantly realized that Mom needed to be in a place where she could receive professional care. The moment we found Elmcroft of Brentwood, we knew we had found a very special place that would not only provide excellent care for our Mother, but would treat her as a beloved family member. They worked with us as we made the transition to Assisted Living and then very rapidly moved Mom into the Memory Care unit. We have been so impressed with the love shown to our Mother and the compassion and patience each caregiver shows as they provide care. Elmcroft Brentwood has a fantastic staff and it has allowed my brother and I the freedom to just be her sons."

“At Elmcroft the focus is on the resident. The staff is consistently caring and going the extra mile. Accommodations are available in a range of sizes and prices, including shared living space. The staff bathes and helps my dad to dress daily, so that we can concentrate on companionship instead of performing activities of daily living. "My siblings and I promised our mother she would always be able to live at home. This became impossible. Elmcroft came highly recommended to us . "Moving into a community was not an easy decision for me to make! But, the nice folks at Elmcroft made me and my sweet little dog Abby feel right at home. The first thing I noticed was how clean the community was. No matter what time of day or night, I saw people keeping things extremely tidy. The next thing I noticed was the variety of activities for me to enjoy. I like sitting in the lobby sharing the day with some of the ladies and look forward to the outings. From lunches at local restaurants to scenic drives to Amish country, there are always new places to see and explore. I have made some great friends with the other residents and the staff as well, and everyone seems to enjoy Abby, who some call the Elmcroft mascot! I am proud to call Elmcroft home!"

"We thank all of you for the wonderful care you have given our mother for the past three years. We were very sad that Alzheimer’s Disease took over her life and that it was not possible for her to stay in her home. We agonized over taking her to Elmcroft and did not know how she would respond. "Everyone here at Elmcroft is so welcoming and friendly! I really love that Mom is surrounded by people who care about her and that she's in an environment that is comfortable and safe. I know I can relax and know she is being taken care of when I'm not there. Mom really loves having the company of the other residents. She especially enjoys the entertainment, sing-a-longs, and bingo. The last time I took her to get her hair done she just bragged about how wonderful Elmcroft is and that she "loves being waited on." I love that she is waited on too!"
